Day 97: December 6, 2009, Sunday
Today I slept through my alarms, so I woke up around noon. Afterward I worked on English all day, as I am behind on my work. It is still snowy out side, though it is melting.
Saturday, December 5, 2009
Day 96: December 5, 2009, Saturday
Snow! I was doubtful it actually would snow, but it did. Unfortunately for me I had to walk in the snow all the way across campus for my choir concert. That was very enjoyable, though it was extremely warm in the practice room, but everything was pulled off without a hitch, though I did make a few mistakes. After the concert, I went to dinner with my father. It was a good night.

Day 95: December 4, 2009, Friday
The art show was tonight, though my roommate and I only stayed for a moment, as there was not much to do. The art was interesting, but we left not too long after we got there.
Thursday, December 3, 2009
Day 94: December 3, 2009, Thursday
Today I went to eat at the Den with my roommate after going to Art History Club. I took a picture of him. My test went well and Art History Club was fun. We made some posters for an art show tomorrow evening.

Day 93: December 2, 2009, Wednesday
There was only one hot salsa left at the Den and I got it! I wish there were more because after trying it, I have gotten a great addiction for it over medium or mild. I had so many more meals because I was home for the weekend, so I again went and spent them all on chips and salsa. My Statistics test is tomorrow, so I hope I do well! I also acted in radio drama for a friend of mine's EMF class, which was a lot of fun.
Tuesday, December 1, 2009
Day 92: Decemeber 1, 2009, Tuesday
I have a big Statistics project due on Thursday that involves the program Minitab. It is frustrating to work with and I have been delaying finishing it, but tonight I have to buckle down and finish.

Sunday, November 29, 2009
Day 90: November 29, 2009, Sunday
Today I drove back to my father's house. I did not know what to take a picture of, but I decided that I am going to bring my movie guide to school because I watch so many films there. Leonard Maltin is my favorite film critic and he is the first person I go to before I watch a film, along with Rotten Tomatoes. After I went back to my dad's I did some homework, then he drove me back to my dormitory.
Saturday, November 28, 2009
Day 89: November 28, 2009, Saturday
I had a great time with my friends tonight! I forgot my camera, but my friend took a picture on her cellphone. I cannot wait until I see them over winter break!
Friday, November 27, 2009
Day 88: November 27, 2009, Friday
After a great day with my friends after driving to my mom's house from my dad's. I forgot to bring my camera of course, but afterward I watched the film Synecdoche, New York.
Thursday, November 26, 2009
Day 87: November 26, 2009, Thursday
I stayed at my dad's today. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner. I wish I had taken a picture of it, but I forgot so I took a picture of some shampoo I bought.
Wednesday, November 25, 2009
Day 86: November 25, 2009, Wednesday
It's Thanksgiving break! I am leaving soon, but I am finding it hard to stay awake while waiting to leave. I stayed up way too late last night. I am sort of going to miss being here, but it will be nice to see all my friends again.
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Day 85: November 24, 2009, Tuesday
Since I am leaving tomorrow for Thanksgiving break I needed to use up my extra meals. Therefore, I bought five bags of chips, two jars of salsa, and one bag of cheese. Yummmmmm.
Monday, November 23, 2009
Day 84: November 23, 2009, Monday
Today I have to turn in a paper in English on a photo of myself. I picked a photo of all my friends at a our last get together before we left for college. I miss them all and cannot wait until this weekend to see them, as it is Thanksgiving break.
Sunday, November 22, 2009
Day 83: November 22, 2009, Sunday
Today I finally sat down to finish my legal paper, which I have had five weeks to do. I wish I had spent more time on it, but you know what they say. If you wait until the last minute, it only takes one minute.
Saturday, November 21, 2009
Day 82: November 21, 2009, Saturday
I did my laundry today, because I have been neglecting it for two weeks. It is always a pain to have to go up and down the stairs to get to the laundry machines over and over again, but I had to at some point, as I was running out of clothes.
Friday, November 20, 2009
Day 81: November 20, 2009, Friday
I missed slept through Statistics and Accounting yesterday. I did not really need to go to Statistics as it was simply a computer lab day, but in Accounting we went over part two of Chapter nine. I will need to go over this information in preparation for the final exam in a few weeks.
Thursday, November 19, 2009
Day 80: November 19, 2009, Thursday
I started "The Hobbit" today. It is very different then I remember when reading an excerpt in English class many years ago. I believe it is a result of watching the "Lord of the Rings" films so many times.
Wednesday, November 18, 2009
Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Day 78: November 17, 2009, Tuesday
I forgot to mention in my blog yesturday that I bought two books at Barnes and Noble. One is J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," in anticipation of the feature film adaption that is coming out next year, and the other is Frank Herbert's Dune, which is a classic science-fiction novel.
Monday, November 16, 2009
Day 77: November 16, 2009, Monday
Sunday, November 15, 2009
Day 76: November 15, 2009, Sunday
I have been neglecting Accounting Club. I have missed most of the meetings in the past few weeks, and I do not think I am going to go tomorrow. It is not that I do not enjoy it, but I have a much larger block of free time in between English, which ends at at 3:15 and choir which starts at 7:00.
Saturday, November 14, 2009
Day 75: November 14, 2009, Saturday
I made my final calculations for my degrees, by checking off each class I have to take in the catalog. I might have to spend six years in school unless I step up the number of classes I am taking each semester!
Friday, November 13, 2009
Day 74: November 13, 2009, Friday
I finished off my list of classes for my degrees. According to my calculations I will have a total of 207 credits, consisting of 68 classes.
Thursday, November 12, 2009
Day 73: November 12, 2009, Thursday
Today I did not do much, except listen to showtunes on Pandora. It is sometimes hard to find exactly what I want, as you cannot play songs on demand, but it is better than buying the music.
Wednesday, November 11, 2009
Day 72: November 11, 2009, Wednesday
Today, instead of doing my work, like I should, I spent my time finding out exactly how many classes I need to take to get two bachelors degrees in Accounting and Business and a masters in Accounting. I added up the number of classes and credits.
Tuesday, November 10, 2009
Day 71: November 10, 2009, Tuesday
Honors Women in Perspective was canceled! I wanted to take if for my II.C.3 gen-ed. Now I will have to wait to take that gen-ed later and instead am taking my second gen-ed for II.C.2: Honors Introduction to Political Science.
Monday, November 9, 2009
Day 70: November 9, 2009, Monday
Hot. My room is 80 degrees, which is not that bad, but it still makes me uncomfortable. The thermostat is set at 55 degrees, but it does not good because the air conditioning is not on. I have a small desk fan, but it sometimes is not good enough!
Sunday, November 8, 2009
Day 69: November 8, 2009, Sunday
Shasta. A discount beverage my roommate drinks. I only drink higher quality name brands! I slept until two in the afternoon after watching half of the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King with my roommate. Then I went to lunch and talked of my grand plans to do homework all day. Then, I accomplished almost nothing.
Saturday, November 7, 2009
Day 68: November 7, 2009, Saturday
Art History Symposium! This morning my roommate and I woke up early to attend a Art History Symposium put on by the Art History Club, which we are a part of. It was several hours long, with the keynote speaker being Amy Sowder, an assistant professor of Art History doing a presentation entitled, "Far from Fountains: Inscriptions on Broze Hydriai and the Importance of Water Jars in Ancient Greece." It dealt with the inscriptions on Hydriai, which are containers used to carry water throughout history in almost every civilization. It was very interesting as were the other presentations, though I had seen them all before on Thursday. There was a reception following the presentations, but my roommate and I did not stay because we went to go eat lunch. Later, we went to the mall with one of our friends and my roommate bought a jacket. Then, we went to Super Fresh to get snacks. I did not get any because I am trying to save money.

Day 67: November 6, 2009, Friday
Most of my day was spent in dread, hoping my classes were not full as I had to schedule my classes for next semester today in real time, along with everyone else in the honors college. I was forced to wait until 4:00pm to start enrolling in classes, a full hour and a half after my roommate. Luckily, I was able to get into all the classes I wanted to! I am very happy with my schedule, which I took a picture of.
Thursday, November 5, 2009
Day 66: November 4, 2009, Thursday
Art History Club was a lot of fun today! We watched presentations that are going to be given at the Art History Symposium on Saturday. They were very interesting, one dealing with a gay new mannerist art and another dealing with documentary film maker Wener Herzog and the art of "Stylization and Fabrication" in documentary film making. I enjoyed all of them and am proud to be part of the group that made their presentations possible.
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
Day 65: November 3, 2009, Wednesday
Today I wasted much of the time I had to do homework not doing anything important. Most of that time was spent uploading CDs my roommate and I rented from the library.
Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Day 64: November 2, 2009, Tuesday
TANSTAAFL! "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch!" Today I finished my book, "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert A. Heinlein. Not only is it a great work of science fiction, but also a great political novel, dealing with revolution, government, and anarchism.
Sunday, November 1, 2009
Day 63: November 1, 2009, Monday
Daylight Savings Time. I set my alarm for 10am and slept for an hour. Luckly it was still 10am when I woke up! After getting up, I went to Dunkin Donuts and got a bagle with chive cream cheese...mmm...Then I went back to Towson. My father had ordered me some books online dealing with business and accounting, so I had to re-organize my bookshelf accordingly.
Day 62: October 31, 2009, Sunday
Today was a very nice day. I went to "Toby's Dinner Theater" with my father and sister to see, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." I was excited to see what similarities and differences it would have compared to the production my friends and I put on. It was similar in many ways and though I, at first, did not like, I quickly warmed up to the songs and the great, though different, acting.
Friday, October 30, 2009
Day 61: October 30, 2009, Friday
Today I did not want to go to class! I woke up 15 minutes before my class started because I did not get much sleep last night and slept through my alarm! When I got back from my first class I immediately got back into bed and slept for an hour before my next class. After that, still in a daze, I went back to bed for three more hours. Then I finally got up and finished my statistics homework and began working on other homework. Then, I finished Being John Malkovich with my roommate, as we started it, but did not finish. It is a great film!

Day 60: October 29, 2009, Thursday
I made it through the day without taking a nap! I thought I could not do it, but I managed to. Today was very successful as we had an Art History Club meeting. There we discussed how to advertise the Art History Symposium that we are hosting in a week, where five Art History students will read their papers dealing with Art History. I am very excited for this event! My roommate and I left early, however, to have dinner at restaurant night with four other people. The food was very good; I had steak. However, like the last restaurant night I went to, I was not allowed to take my leftovers with me! That seems silly to me that they just throw the food away when I could eat it later. Also, they ran out of cheesecake and I was forced to have pudding for desert! How could they run out of cheesecake?! Well I did not complain as we were the last ones there and it looked like they were closing down.

Day 59: October 28, 2009, Wednesday
Nap time. I told myself I was not going to fall asleep, but ended up sleeping for a couple hours in the middle of the afternoon anyway. The photograph is of my ceiling.
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
Day 58: October 27, 2009, Tuesday
Honors Seminar Night! I learned about all the Honors Seminars that are being offered next semester. Which one will I take?! I have not decided yet.
Monday, October 26, 2009
Day 57: October 26, 2009, Monday
Today my roommate and I went to the library and got library cards. Then we rented out some cds. Afterward, we ate at Subway so he could save some of his meals for this weeks restaurant night.
Sunday, October 25, 2009
Day 56: October 25, 2009, Sunday
I am home today from Easton. I had a good time, but it is nice to be back at Towson. Now I have to do all my homework :D.
Saturday, October 24, 2009
Day 55: October 24, 2009, Saturday
I went back to my dads and am spending the night here. I saw "Where the Wild Things Are" this morning, which was a great film. It was defiantly not a children's film though, because of the way the "wild things" represented aspect's of the child's mind that a child would not understand when watching a movie. I got 5 packs of Coca-Cola Cherry for my dorm as well as a lot of nutri-grain bars.
Note: The picture was taken later.
Note: The picture was taken later.
Day 54: October 23, 2009, Friday
I went home to Easton, MD today. I went to my dad's house in Ellicott City, MD, then took his car to Easton. I hung out with a couple of my friends, but we did not do anything exciting. I moved some furniture around in my room in Easton.

Day 52: October 21, 2009, Wednesday
Tuesday, October 20, 2009
Day 51: October 20, 2009, Tuesday
Today I slept several times and almost fell asleep in Accounting. I did not feel like going, but forced myself to.
Monday, October 19, 2009
Day 50: October 19, 2009, Monday
Today I had a Black Forest Trifle for desert. It was very disgusting. I had hoped it would be like the Strawberry Shortcake I had last week, but sadly...it was just not the same! I cannot believe it was three dollars! What a rip off!
Sunday, October 18, 2009
Day 49: October 18, 2009, Sunday
The new season of Stargate Sg-1, one of my favorite shows, was posted on Hulu, so I watched it all day. Then I did my homework.
Saturday, October 17, 2009
Day 48: October 17, 2009, Saturday
It is rainy today. What a perfect day to walk around Baltimore! First, this morning we went for a run...in the rain. We ran for about five minutes, the walked the rest of the way to Panara Bread and had breakfast. I had the best bagel I've ever had in my entire life. It was filled with cranberries and was smothered in raspberry creme cheese that was more expensive then the bagel itself. After that we went on the collegetown shuttle to Baltimore. We had wanted to go last week, but we ended up not going. It was sunny last week. When we got to Baltimore, we did not really have a plan, except to find how to get to the Walters Art Museum. I accidentally did not print out a big map of Baltimore, so we had to find the street that was on the tiny map I had to begin our journey. Feeling hungry, we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, where I spent $20 for a delicious meal that I could not bring home with me because we were going to the museum afterward. After walking a mile up the road to the museum and getting lost several times, we made it, only to find that it had just closed. We spent the rest of the time trying to find our way back and ended getting ice cream and going home.
