Day 34: October 3, 2009, Saturday

My mother and sister visited me thing morning.  I was going to go to the Honors breakfast with them, but I was very tired so they just dropped off some clothes and left.  I immediately went back to sleep at woke up around 1pm.  Then I went to lunch with my roommate and tried sushi for the first time.  I had actually had Asparagus sushi the other day, but it did not have raw fish inside of it like the Philly roll I got today.  It was okay, but I did not finish it.  Tonight I am going to a Crab dinner at Towson Center with my father.  I need to do my laundry tomorrow and wash all the clothes my mom gave me because they have been in my closet for about a year and are musty.

Day 33: October 2, 2009, Friday

It was a nice Friday.  I only had one class because when my professor for Microeconomics never showed up for an online "experiment" we do on Wednesday evening, he canceled class and told us to do it during class time in our dorms.  I do not know how well I did on my legal brief, but will find out when I get it back next class.  I went to the Center of the Arts with my roommate today, as he had an assignment for his drawing class to go to an art gallery.  We went to several, but he did not find what he was looking for.  We returned to Richmond Hall, but as we were going inside, we saw someone with a bag from Wal-mart.  We decided to Target and thus began walking down York Road, not really knowing where Target was.  I thought I had an idea, but when I looked it up later, I realized we went in the complete opposite direction.  We proceeded down York road, but could not find any shopping center, so we walked parallel with the University until we reached Oslar drive, which I recognized.  We walked down past the  Center of the Arts and I suggested we see if they have anything at "Fresh Tracks" as neither of us had been there before.  We walked there and did not find anything of interest, so we went home.  I worked on my Microeconomics homework and finished it just in time to go see the Magician that was preforming at the Union.  He was...interesting...

Day 32: October 1, 2009, Thursday

I did not do much today.  I woke up and checked my e-mail as I always do and received an e-mail saying simply "Math 231 class is cancelled Oct 1."  I hope there was no emergency that caused class to be canceled, but to be honest I was happy to have more time to study for my Accounting test.  I am actually very happy with my performance on the exam, though I do not know my grade yet.  I finished the test about forty-five minutes early and then went back to my room where I worked on a brief my "Legal Environment of Business" class.  I am very confused and really have no idea what I am doing.  Around 5:30pm I left with my roommate to get dinner and then went to Art History Club.  I had a nice time there, but we don't discuss much, considering my roommate and I do not know much about Art at all.  Now I am trying to finish the brief.  The picture is unrelated.  I just took a walk and shot this nice view of Stephens Hall.

Day 31: September 30, 2009, Wednesday

Most of my day was spent studying for my Accounting test tomorrow.  Again I skipped the "History Club" and "Cineaste," which is a film club.  I am somewhat more confident in my abilities in Accounting after taking several quizzes on the text book website.  I just hope I can remember everything I need to.  I was supposed to have a Microeconomics "experiment" at 7pm, but the professor never showed up so we all left.

Day 30: September 29, 2009, Tuesday

Statistics was the only class I had today that I missed yesterday.  I did not have a hard time understanding what we went over, but I still have a lot of work to do.  In Accounting we went over the last part of Chapter 4 and reviewed Chapters 1-4 for the test on Thursday.  I am very nervous about this test, because it is only one of a few for the class, so my grade has a large effect on my final grade.  I spent a lot of time today on my English essay, because I have been procrastinating.  I am finishing it right now and skipped the "Financial Management Association" and the "Wall Street Investment Investors' Club" to do so.  I am worried about my involvement in these clubs because I keep missing the meetings, but hopefully I will be more involved in the coming semesters.

Day 29: September 28, 2009, Monday

Today is Yom Kippur.  I went to services at my synagogue, Oheb Shalom, with my father this morning, then went to a meeting with my first year adviser to pick my classes for next semester.  I am taking three business courses and two gen-eds, which I have not picked yet.  After this year, I will be able to apply to the business department, but will not yet be able to apply to the Accounting department.  I missed three classes today and will have to meet with my teachers later to discuss the work.

Day 28: September 27, 2009, Sunday

Today I went to my dads house.  Even though it is a Sunday, I went because I am attending Yom Kippur services with him tomorrow.  We have three dogs and two cats, so I took a picture of two of the dogs.  I could not spend much time with them, however, because I had to finish a microeconomics essay due tomorrow.
