Day 48: October 17, 2009, Saturday

It is rainy today. What a perfect day to walk around Baltimore!  First, this morning we went for a run...in the rain.  We ran for about five minutes, the walked the rest of the way to Panara Bread and had breakfast.  I had the best bagel I've ever had in my entire life.  It was filled with cranberries and was smothered in raspberry creme cheese that was more expensive then the bagel itself.  After that we went on the collegetown shuttle to Baltimore.  We had wanted to go last week, but we ended up not going.  It was sunny last week.  When we got to Baltimore, we did not really have a plan, except to find how to get to the Walters Art Museum.  I accidentally did not print out a big map of Baltimore, so we had to find the street that was on the tiny map I had to begin our journey.  Feeling hungry, we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, where I spent $20 for a delicious meal that I could not bring home with me because we were going to the museum afterward.  After walking a mile up the road to the museum and getting lost several times, we made it, only to find that it had just closed.  We spent the rest of the time trying to find our way back and ended getting ice cream and going home.

Day 47: October 16, 2009, Friday

Sweatpants.  I needed some to go running in the cold tomorrow morning.  I already have some short running pants and two running shirts, but it is probably a bad idea to wear those in the rain.  I will probably wear these with a sweatshirt and hope I do not get too wet if it still raining.  I have only one ran a couple times and tailed miserably whenever I try, so tomorrow will probably be no different.

Day 46: October 15, 2009, Thursday

Today I spent a lot of time trying to decide which topic I wanted to do for a legal paper I had for, "Legal Environment of Business."  I decided on, "How the Statute of Frauds affects Contract Law."  It deals with which contracts have to be specifically written to be valid, and those that can be verbal.  I settled on it because I would rather deal with agreements between people than government enforcement of laws.

Day 45: October 14, 2009, Wednesday

Today I went to a planetarium with my roommate.  It was very interesting.  Afterward I confused the Director of Academic Operations for the Honors college for an Astronomy student, which was somewhat embarrassing.  After that I took some cheesecake from this event in the Richmond classroom put on by the Building Council.  I did not stay for the whole film, "Stepbrothers," because I had to study for my Statistics test tomorrow, but it was still nice.

Day 44: October 13, 2009, Tuesday

I gave blood today.  It was a last minute decision, as I had wanted to do it, but was not sure how I would react, because I had never given blood before.  I had to wait for two hours because they were backed up.  When I finally got up to give blood, the process was only about half an hour.  Afterward I felt very lightheaded, but overall I was fine.  After leaning back and getting a cold towel on my head I was fine.  I took it easy for the rest of the day.

Day 43: October 12, 2009, Monday

Monday.  I did not have Legal Environment of Business, so after I came back from Basic Statistics I went back to sleep until my next class.  As I was leaving my Microeconomics class from the third floor of Stephens Hall, I saw a tree from the stairs window.  I had not noticed, until then, how prevalent the autumn weather was getting.  It seemed only a little while ago that it was summer.

Day 42: October 11, 2009, Sunday

Bill Bateman's is becoming a weekly tradition on Sunday nights.  As you can see I could not finish my burger.  I worked on my english homework most of the day.  I slept in until noon.  There is not much else to say.
