Day 27: September 26, 2009, Saturday

I tried unsuccessfully to get a lot of my homework done today.  I was walking past Stephens Hall with my roommate after going to see what "Tiger-con" was at the University Union, when I thought to check whether the honors study room was open, as I have not been in there before.  To my surprise it was and I decided to spend time studying in there, alone, instead of in my dorm room.  This proved ineffective, however, because I had my laptop with me and spent a lot of time on YouTube instead of doing my work.  I decided to come back to my room and try to get more work done here.

Day 26: September 25, 2009, Friday

There Will Be Blood.  I watched most of this movie with my roommate, who had never seen it before.  It is one of my favorite films.  Daniel Day Lewis is also one of my favorite actors and I have seen many of his films, including, "The Boxer," "My Left Foot," and, "In the Name of the Father."  It was amazing to see him truly become the character in this film, as he does in every film he is in.

Day 25: September 24, 2009, Thursday

Slow day.  I spent most of it relaxing because I had so much homework for statistics last night.  I began to read my book, "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress," which is really good, though I am having some trouble getting into it.  The language Heinlein uses is interesting because it excludes the word "the."  I looked up why this is and according to Wikipedia it is because most Slavic languages exclude this word and in the fictional "lunar" language, the earth  languages must have merged together.

Day 24: September 23, 2009, Wednesday

I spent most of today doing a project for Statistics.  I have a test tomorrow and am not really as prepared as I should be.  I had this assignment for a week or so, but am just now finishing it.  I have been having a hard time understanding what "descriptive statistics" actually is, and why I have to use it to describe a series of numbers.  I am confident in the questions that use formulas that I will have to do on the test, but am concerned about the inferences I will have to make.

Day 23: September 22, 2009, Tuesday

My cold has gotten worse and I have used up many of the tissues I bought already.  Luckily, I bought two boxes!  I had to leave choir early last night because I was not feeling well and I have not felt well all day today.  On top of that it was really hot in all of my classes, probably due to the power surges last night.  I hope I get better soon.

Day 22: September 21, 2009, Monday

Today I woke up with a sore throat and on top of that I think I have a cold.  I went to the Union store with my roommate and bought some tissues as well as a binder for choir.  I need to buy my music tonight, as I did not have a check last time because it was the first class I had been to.

Day 21: September 20, 2009, Sunday

Today was a study day because I went to the game last night.  I had a lot of homework and still have to finish some.  Mostly I just wanted to read the chapters in my Microeconomics and Legal Environment of Business books.  My and my roommate and our friend tried to study outside, but I felt like I was getting burnt sitting in the sun, so I left.

Day 20: September 19, 2009, Saturday

Go Towson!  The football game was tonight, though it was not as exciting as I thought it would be.  When the game started there were not many people there and I could tell why.  The tigers are not the best team in the conference.  They kept being pushed behind the line of scrimmage and hardly ever threw the ball unless it was a third down.  My roommate and I left at the end of the first half.
