Day 41: October 10, 2009, Saturday

I did absolutely nothing today.  I was going to go to Baltimore, but my roommate and I decided that we should stay home and do are homework.  Then we spent the day joking about how we were not doing our homework and the day ended.  Hopefully we will go to Baltimore next week and not have any excuses!  I did get up early and do my laundry, but that is really the only thing I accomplished.  I took several naps.

Day 40: October 9, 2009, Friday

I got home from classes and my roommate was still asleep.  It was around twelve in the afternoon.  When I got back from second class of the day, he was up.  I asked him if he wanted to go to Target.  He said sure, so we got another kid from our floor and set out.  Last time, our journey had not turned out so good, but we knew where we were going now.  After arriving in the shopping center, we ate at red robin.  I only had a milkshake, because I wanted to eat dinner at Towson and use my meal points.  Then we went to Target.  I wanted NutriGrain bars, but I thought the ones at Target were not the same as the ones in the vending machines I liked so much.  So, we went to Superfresh and I settled for the ones I had seen before.  I got four boxes for ten dollars, which was not a bad price.  I thought about getting soda, but realized it would be better not to drink a lot of soda and also it is more expensive than the water I already have.

Day 39: October 8, 2009, Thursday

Art History Club was canceled!  I was devastated, so my roommate and I decided to go over to the Center for the Arts to see an art show that was just opening.  It was very strange and mostly abstract, so we did not stay that long.  I did win a t-shirt by spinning a wheel though!  Earlier in the day I had wanted to go to Barnes and Noble, to see if there were any books I wanted to buy, so we went there.  I could not find anything on the bargain racks or in the other sections that I absolutely needed, but while we were  there  the power went out.  We then went to the public library to get library cards, but the computers were down due to the power outage.

Day 38: October 7, 2009, Wednesday

Quiddich Club!  Yes, I went to the exploratory meeting for the Towson Quiddich team.  I dragged my roommate and another person there and I am really excited.  We already have our team lined up and will have our first game soon.  Some of the inside jokes from  the book were a little too much for me, but it seems like it will be a lot of fun, without the pressure of other sports.  We have to pretend to be on a broom the whole time.  I forgot to take a picture when I was inside, but I took a picture of the art building, where the meeting was held.

Day 37: October 6, 2009, Tuesday

Not much happened today.  I tried to fix my computer because it is not updating correctly, but was unable to.  I took a nap for a few hours and then did some Statistics homework.  I was able to understand things a lot more since class today.  I was very excited to receive two tests back today.  I unfortunately only got a 77% on my Statistics exam, which could have been worse I suppose.  I got many of the math problems right, but the terminology and concepts were where I lost the most points.  On my Accounting test, I received a 91%, which I was very pleased with.  I made some mistakes that could have been easily corrected, but I was able to pick out the right answers quickly, so I definitely know the material.  I watched V for Vendetta with my roommate as well.

Day 36: October 5, 2009, Monday

I just got back from choir, which was nice, but it always takes a big chunk out of my Monday night.  Usually it ends fifteen minutes early, but hopefully it will not be extended when the concert comes up.  I went to Accounting Club today as well and payed my dues which were owed: $15.  I think it is worth it though, because the meetings are always interesting and the guests are giving me information about internships and career opportunities that I will need to know when I get into the job market.  I took a picture of Richmond Hall, where I live.

Day 35: October 4, 2009, Sunday

Half-price burger night at Bill Bateman's!  I went there with my roommate and another guy from my floor.  I had the "Box Cart Billy" burger, which was very good.  Afterward, I attempted to finish my Statistics homework, but was very confused.  My roommate helped me on some questions, but hopefully I will understand the material after class tomorrow.
